With a growing footprint in Connecticut, we are expanding our team with a Repair Project Manager who will be central to delivering efficient, high-quality projects from start to finish.

About the Role:

The Repair Project Manager (PM) is responsible for overseeing residential and commercial repair and remodeling projects from contract signing through to completion and final payment. This role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and customer relationship skills. PMs work closely with Estimators and Production Managers and are expected to manage jobs independently while maintaining a high level of accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Budgeting & Planning: Review and manage project budgets; address any issues with the Estimator to ensure accurate job costing.
  • Scheduling: Coordinate and oversee timelines for subcontractors and staff carpenters to maintain schedule integrity.
  • Procurement: Order materials, manage deliveries, and secure permits and approvals as needed.
  • Project Oversight: Monitor subcontractor work for quality, compliance, and completion against scope.
  • Client Communication: Maintain regular updates with clients and document all activity in the job management system.
  • Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to relevant building codes, safety standards, and insurance carrier expectations.

What We’re Looking For:

We are looking for a strong individual contributor who brings the following to the table:

  • Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • A high level of follow-through and attention to detail from estimate through final close-out
  • Deep familiarity with Xactimate – at least 4+ years of hands-on experience in estimate preparation (This is required!)
  • Existing subcontractor relationships in Connecticut or the ability to quickly build and manage a reliable network
  • Proven ability to run projects independently without constant oversight, particularly in the $50,000–$250,000 range
  • Insurance repair project experience is required
  • Strong time management, organizational skills, and comfort managing multiple projects concurrently
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office; comfort using technology to manage projects and communicate

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $90,000 – $130,000, depending on experience

Work Location & Flexibility

For the first 4 to 6 months , the selected candidate will be expected to work on-site at our Marlborough, CT office (9 Austin Dr, Marlborough, CT 06447) to receive hands-on training, shadow existing team members, and integrate into our systems and workflows.

Once fully embedded in the role, we offer flexible work-from-home arrangements based on performance, project needs, and team coordination.

This position does involve a large amount of time on the road - please only apply if you are comfortable driving multiple hours a day!

Schedule:

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday
  • Occasional weekends as needed based on project timelines
