Job Title: Customer Service Support Level 1

Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Position Overview:
The Customer Service Support Level 1 role is responsible for coordinating and executing export documentation and import coordination activities to ensure compliance with U.S. and international regulations. This role requires working closely with Business Units (BUs), carriers, brokers, and global stakeholders to manage shipments, resolve issues, and provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Export Documentation (55%) Prepare, review, and ensure accuracy of bill of lading instructions and export paperwork; file EEI/ISF; coordinate with brokers and third-party facilities; comply with Letters of Credit and regulatory requirements.
Import Coordination (15%) Facilitate import clearance processes, ISF filings, broker coordination, and communication with overseas clients; ensure compliance with U.S. Customs, FDA, and related agencies.
Customer Service & Problem Resolution (15%) Manage Remedy Force and SAP data, address shipment issues, and provide internal/external customer support.
Stakeholder Communication (10%) Share shipment details and updates with BUs, load facilities, and end customers.
Other Duties (5%) Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED.
1+ year office experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required).
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing environments.
Knowledge of U.S. and global geography.
Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's Degree OR High School Diploma/GED with 2+ years in Business, Logistics, Transportation, or Supply Chain.
Experience in forwarding/customs clearance.
Knowledge of Incoterms, SAP, AS 400, GT Nexus.
Understanding of insurance and claims.
Strong analytical skills.
