Job Description

**Responsibilities** **Patient Care:** + Diagnose and treat various medical conditions. + Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans. + Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories. **Communication:** + Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams. + Provide clear and concise medical information. + Foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare. **Documentation:** + Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. + Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans. + Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations. **Diagnostic Procedures:** + Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging. + Perform procedures as needed + Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation. **Team Collaboration:** + Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals. + Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions. + Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers. **Quality Improvement:** + Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives. + Review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement. + Implement changes to enhance patient care and safety. **Compliance:** + Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice. + Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements. + Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards. **Continuous Learning:** + Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices. + Participate in ongoing medical education and training. + Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines. **Qualifications** + A valid and unrestricted California medical license + Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA) + Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program + This is a **_cap exempt_** H-1B opportunity **Overview** **Dignity Health Health Medical Group - Stockton** is looking to add an Internal Medicine Physician to our multi-specialty group in Stockton, CA. **Highlights:** + Development of a patient-centric, physician-led practice model with support staff + Strong referral system/Easy access to specialists + Outpatient practice and access to 24/7 Hospitalist Program **Compensation Package:** + Salary guarantee period, bonus incentives, generous time off + Medical benefits (provider and family), CME stipend, malpractice, 401K, pension, and more + Compensation Range: $246,755 - $296,789 / Year Dignity Health Medical Group - Stockton, a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation, is a dynamic multi-specialty group with over 20 physicians and advanced practitioners and still growing.
